Tech Training & Tech Help at help.com

Need a little tech training or technical help? Courses for keeping current with technology are offered free of charge by a variety of organizations on the web. C|NET is one of my favorites and has quite a variety of offerings. Their help.com site offers online courses, tech forums, and a great newsletter. We'll take a look at this online resource.

Online, instructor-led classes are provided free of charge. Email reminders are sent to notify you of when a new lesson is posted. In addition to the material presented, each lesson includes links to an assignment, a quiz, a message board discussion with the Instructor, as well as a message board area to chat with others enrolled in your class.

But there's more!
We'll look at becoming a C|NET member, finding an answer to a tech issue at a forum, and how to sign up for a class. We're currently signed up for the Web Site Design offering and we'll look at the lesson plan, instructor bio, quizes and chatting with fellow class-mates on the message board.
